Again another simple yet effective way to improve health and well being …

Readers are encouraged to do more research on internet on “Isogai Dynamic Therapy”, although available materials are mostly in Japanese and Chinese.

 

 

Based on my limited understanding, I share the followings:
How unbalanced lengths of legs affect Health?

Un-balanced usage of our body : muscles, movement, posture due to  ….

  • Wrong posture since young, some started with birth defects, say at the hip , years of carrying heavy school bags, or arising from occupational hazards like only use one leg to repeatedly perform certain tasks year after year, … do you realize you habitually throughout your life so far, use either you left leg or right leg to wear your trousers, or taking the first step in walking or using stairs, or cross your left leg over the right or right leg over your left, i.e. using more one part of the body …..
  • The muscle and ligaments have to respond to the frequent usage of that part of the body and hence do more work than the other part. These frequently worked muscles and ligaments are attached to the part of the bone structure (* see note below) over time, movement of that part of the body, i.e. joints of the bone structure, tilt the hip, and tilt the left and right hips, resulting in un-balanced length of the leg and right legs.
  • Such unbalanced body (structural bones and muscle and ligaments) causes or reinforces the originally frequently used part of the body. E.g. if left leg is shorter than the right leg, we will use the right leg to start walking first, and continue the process, use more right leg and left leg.

Implications and Consequences :

  • Muscle and ligaments run with nerves and blood vessels etc. Nerves and blood vessels are connected to other part of the body as a complete nervous system or blood circulation system. Different parts or organs of the body require balanced nourishment from the nervous system / circulation system.  However due to above mentioned unbalanced movement of usage of our body parts, certain organs or sub-system of the body “suffer”, not getting the necessary nourishment or input or output.
  • Or, from the Chinese Qi- Meridian perspective, the un-balance also cause blocked Qi.
  • Resulting in ailments, sickness, pain, discomfort.

 

  • Note: Muscle and ligaments hold the body bone structure, as body bone structure cannot stand by itself, it simply collapses if without muscles and ligament. Hence Western medical treatment of scoliosis, (curving of the spine) with elaborate and expensive surgery on the bones (spine), is only treating the symptoms, as there are many cases of spine start curving again few months after surgery, as the original muscle and ligament continue its old habits. The roots of the problem is still the habitually, or unconscious posture or movement of certain parts of the body, and the underlying psychological factors that create such behaviours. E.g. a depressed person , after scoliosis surgery, continues to hide in the room, unhappy and sad, with hunchback – heavy psychological and emotional burdens at the back.

How to correct the above by new posture?

One of the ways, simple and easily done, tie your legs every night when you sleep, this will hold the legs tightly together to restore the balance of the hip joints. See picture below and in the linkes below

For the shorter belt : 22 inches in length

For greater effectiveness, apply Energy Psychology, i.e. find out and balance the negative emotions, limiting beliefs that drive the behaviors, hence the habits of inbalance the body postures.
